Long flying irons are attached to scenery panels for lifting. The flat iron can be used mid frame where it would not be suitable to use a lipped iron. It is recommended that scenery panels are lifted from the lower rail. Manufactured from mild steel and zinc plated. Flying Irons are used to fly scenery panels.
