\n \n \nThe S-15 is a high-performance subwoofer with a frequency response and SPL output that defies its compact dimensions, making it ideal for installations as well as mobile situations. \n \nThe compact enclosure houses a single 4” voice coil 15” (381mm) high-excursion neodymium LF drive unit, and is rigidly braced to minimise unwanted panel resonance. Constructed from multi-laminate premium birch plywood, the optimally-tuned enclosure includes two flush bar handles, rubber feet and mating recesses, and an M20 threaded pole adapter, as well as a total of 16 M10 rigging points for flying in both temporary and permanent installation applications. The S-15 is also supplied with a tour-grade castor set for easier transport. \n \nThe enclosure includes a pair of Neutrik® speakON™ NL4 connectors for input and enclosure link, and a tough mesh-backed perforated steel grille protects the drive unit from damage which can be quickly removed for service purposes. The enclosure is finished in a rugged black textured polyurethane finish or white textured paint as standard, however RAL colour matching and weather-protected outdoor installation options are also available. \n \nThe S-15 is designed to be a core workhorse subwoofer within the EM Acoustics range – compact enough to be transportable yet powerful enough to be useful for supporting larger models within the EM Acoustics range. The S-15 can support any product, but is especially suitable for reinforcing EMS-81X, EMS-101X and EMS-126/129 loudspeakers. \n \nThe S-15 requires a single amplifier channel, and should be used with professional power amplifiers capable of delivering 1000 to 1600W RMS into an 8-ohm load.
