About Admiral Staging

Built to Solve Problems
Nobody Had Solved Yet

Admiral Staging is a product design and manufacturing company based in Enschede, Netherlands, part of Rolight Theatertechniek B.V., with over 40 years of development in professional event and theatre technology.

"We design and manufacture products you never knew you needed."

Every product in the Admiral range starts with a real problem on a real show, the kind that crews had been working around for years without a proper fix. The Cable Guide exists because no one wanted to send a rigger up a ladder to coil cable looms after every show. The Freedom System exists because touring companies were buying separate gear for every configuration. The transport system exists because baseplate injuries are preventable.

The result is a catalogue built around modularity. Admiral's systems are designed to combine, extend and reconfigure, so the gear you buy for this show is the gear you use for the next one, just set up differently. Their products are distributed through authorised partners in over 25 countries, and SHOWTECHNIX is their authorised distributor for New Zealand and Australia.

Our Recommendation

Why We
Love
Admiral Staging

Forty years of solving problems the industry had quietly given up on. Here's what keeps them on our recommended list.

Browse the Range
01

They Solve Problems Nobody Else Bothered To

Cable looms tangling on moving trusses. Baseplates that take two people to shift. Rigging systems rebuilt from scratch for every show. Admiral looked at each of those and designed a proper fix. Not a workaround. An actual product that didn't exist before.

02

A Fraction of the Cost of Going Custom

Before Admiral, the answer to most of these problems was a fabrication quote and a long lead time. Their modular systems cover the same ground off the shelf, at a price that makes sense for rental companies and touring crews who aren't working with unlimited budgets.

03

The Modularity Is Genuine

The Freedom System's promise that the same components work suspended or standing sounds like marketing until you use it. The Down Rigger flips into a floor rack. The length profiles join to go higher. You're not buying a new solution every time the show changes.

04

Built to a Standard You Can Trust

TÜV certified clamps. Working load limits clearly stated. Steel cable guides with ball-bearing hinges built for a lifetime of use. Rolight has been engineering for professional theatre and events since 1983 and it shows in the product. Well-engineered gear at a fraction of what you'd pay for an equivalent custom solution.
