The iSEMcon EMX-7150 is a precision ¼” measurement microphone constructed from durable stainless steel and fitted with watertight Neutrik connectors. It delivers a highly accurate frequency response while handling extreme sound pressure levels up to 145 dB SPL. This low-impedance microphone operates on 12–52 V phantom power, available on most professional audio interfaces and microphone preamplifiers. Thanks to its robust mechanical design, the EMX-7150 is ideal for harsh environments and outdoor sound reinforcement measurements. Its class 1 frequency response (note: this is not a certified Class 1 microphone) makes it highly suitable for room acoustics analysis, including applications in recording studios and home theaters. It can be used without the supplied free-field calibration data file, with individual calibration data serving as proof of its outstanding performance. For outdoor applications where exposure to spray or light water is possible, the SWS-7 super protection windshield is recommended to safeguard the microphone.
